8 i think that happened to taptap 3 with download tracks for a while it was to do with having a jail-broken device it worked fine for me though and mine isn’t broken.

I’ve done some more research. According to “Tapulous employee Maria” at http://getsatisfaction.com/tapulous/topics/riddim_ribbon_72_hour_prizes the MP3 download is only available in the US. Woah! I’m in the UK and I downloaded the app because the free MP3 download was promised in the UK app store. How do I get a refund??

Its review time!
Though it has some new car appeal, I would actually recommend saving your money for now. Gameplay, to me at least, seemed clunky. I find that the difference between going to the far lanes and hitting the rail is very little, mainly because getting to the far lanes takes such a high degree of tilt. Which brings me to my first request: Adjustable sensitivity. Put a slider bar in the options to vary the sensitivity between half as much as the default to twice the default, so I dont have to tilt so far for a result.
Also, TTR3 launched with over 100 free tracks available while this game came with 3, plus a sample. From the looks of things it takes more effort to create a track for RR than for TTR, so track releases will be more scarce. (Not only must the ribbon layout be mapped, but three (or more) tracks synched and appropriately edited so everything works… though themes look like they’re easier to edit) I’d be interested in making customs, but finding mixes and then synching their BPM’s, pitch adjust, trimming, then the mapping is too much effort for me. Long story short, needs more music.
(I suppose you dont need mixes, could just lay out one ribbon for a track, but i don’t know if that’s worth the effort either.)
Maybe hold onto your money for awhile, see where Tapulous takes this game first.

I think most higher vertebrate would learn Tap Tap more quickly than Riddim Ribbon, although their rate of skill progression in the former would be expected to taper off more quickly; the activity in Riddim Ribbon is inherently less subject to the effects of component reductions, if you catch one’s drift.

Ok so I did get the game but I expected a lot more for 2.99. You know, on the app store 2.99 is like geting a Xbox 360 or Wii game you know and 4.99 is like getting a PS3 game! First of all the acelerometer controls are correct for me but I can understand others frustration. The tracks contain curseing which I expected to be out by release! Only 3 tracks to start and no more unless you buy. In all I much prefer TTR3 since I also payed for it. I will probobly delete just because of the curseing but it is just frustrateing! Mabye add a feature where it can be turned off? Plus add at a later date, possibly in another new app, a track maker because it would be great for this game and no worries about off beats!

Also may I add, I know development was high on this probably but even LGR and MR have bunches of tracks in them and this game had 3! Do the math because this game should have been 1.99 because of the limited tracks.

I’m getting the same sandbox mode error… I like the game, it just REALLY needs more than just Black Eyed Peas.
I think this is overpriced for what you get… Three songs feel more like a demo than an actual game. Also the fact that large amounts of people (myself included) can’t buy premium content means that tapulus is losing money to bad reviews and lack of premium content purchases.
And with the swearing… I thought this would be a fun game to let my kids play… Some of us have morals and object to swearing, to me songs with swearing should not be included in the default bundle but rather as a download pack.

I would have to agree with the other people, the difficulty curve is pretty insane. And I wish you could start out playing hard like on TTR, because I know some people (like me) learn by playing more difficult things first to get a taste and then go back and learn the details. And yeah, there should at least be an option to have a DJ scratch over the swearing.

I don’t get why people see swearing as such a big deal, they are just words. If it does bother you that much that a few words are in the built-in songs, simply don’t play them. Instead of hiding the app from your children, just explain that those words shouldn’t be used because they can hurt other’s feelings or that because said song shouldn’t be played because it is for older children ( / teens / adults). If your child is too young to think of these words or you would prefer your child stay with more age-appropriate games, then maybe this type of game just isn’t right for them.
THEY’RE ONLY WORDS! Don’t let them make huge differences in your life, it just isn’t worth the time or effort.
(I hope I just made sense, way too tired to think but felt like trying to make a point anyway)

what u do is/
go to cydia on your iphone/itouch
go to sources TAB at the bottom
click PACKAGES
click appsync 3.0 / or 3.1 / or 3.2 < whatever its up2
and delete appsync
that will fix the problem.
( source: i had the same problem, and thanks to Claire of tapulous, i was now able to buy Tiesto & Benassi)

Nothing to do with RR here but Celtic Thunder’s new CD is No#69 in the iTunes Top 100! That’s a iTunes Chart record for them and that’s in under 24 hours! Plus they are an iTunes featured artist this week above Lady Gaga! Wow! Man I really want these guys in this game!

Hey, I love the game, but I agree with the suggestion of a sensitivity slider. I tilt my phone that much, and then I’m looking at a sideways screen, and that just makes me dizzy. x_x either that, or increase the sensitivity a little. I think it’s a little too low right now. Thanks.

Great game! Although really more difficult to play than TTR
Bought Satisfaction from Benny Benassi and I get an error each time I try to play. It close the app. I tried to restore the purchased song but it say I don’t have any song needing to be restored.

Sorry Tapulous but I have to call you out for creating a BLATANT ripoff of AudioSurf Tilt for the Zune HD.
It’s actually worse that AudioSurf Tilt since it costs money to get the app and costs money for additional songs. AudioSurf Tilt is a free app and works with ANY SONG in your library.
Everyone, do yourself a favor and stick with AudioSurf Tilt instead. It was the original and its MUCH better than this ripoff.

You do realize that this is way different from Audiosurf? In Audiosurf you just have to match colors and dodge other colors. This is a simpler game, where you have to try your best to stay on a rail, as opposed to going over wherever you want to while getting colors in Audiosurf.

Can anyone tell me if there is any other way to download the free track other than through the app itself? Every time I click on the “Tap here to download now” in Live, It brings me to a phobos Safari page which says that “this item cannot be processed”.
Any ideas? Much appreciated!

Mission of getting into the top 10 scores for all hard tracks accomplished: #1’s on Louder than Boom, Escape Me, and Satisfaction; #3 on I Gotta Feeling; #4 on Boom Boom Pow Pow; #8 on Meet Me Halfway. I’ve been so humbled in certain idevice games in the past that it wouldn’t surprise me if suddenly I was bumped down to #20 or below, so it helps to have set such a goal and know that I did the Riddim Ribbon thing.
