Hey Tappers –
It’s been a crazy month here at the Tapulous Shop, focusing almost entirely on quality and customer service! Here’s a quick rundown of the most recent happenings:
- Online Games: Some of you sent us some messages that this was getting a bit laggy… well we hear ya. We doused the servers with WD-40 last night, you should see things moving a bit more smoothly.
- Online weapons: Don’t like all the weapons in the online rooms? Cruise over to online play for some smaller, more intimate games — and more “No Weapons” rooms.
- Facebook: It’s back in Tap Tap Revenge in all its glory. Connect up with Facebook and post your top scores and personal bests on each song.
- Remember all that tapping you did in TTR2? Well we do, and it wasn’t for nothing. We’re bumping up your level so you can access more free songs. Check out your Tap Tap 3 news feed this weekend for the news.
- Were you one of those folks that got Tap Tap 3 for $.99? Aside from the fact that you’re some of the coolest people on the planet, you also get a bunch of extra stuff — unavailable to the rest of the world: First and foremost, you get NO third party ads (well, almost all of you…), you got the game 60 days before everyone else, and you had access to an entirely different and unrestricted collection of music. Now, in addition, and as promised, you also get a one-of-a-kind avatar item: THE CROWN, and to top it off – 15,000 coins to spend at your leisure. It’s been over a month since I first told u about my problem. The avatar tab on my profile page has been stuck. I can’t open it. I’ve spent on clothes and guitars and even the Haiti jacket but the avatar editor won’t open either. I am frustrated that no one has answered any of my 27 emails to help me out

That’s all wonderful news guys! But I need help. When the Lady Gaga “Bad Romance” bundle was out I tried purchasing it but was charged at least 4 extra times. I never received the credit for being charged. Help. Please?.

Wow. I was thinking about asking Tapulous to make a crown hair-accessory because it would be cool and it would benefit my username for obvious reasons. Also, I read it was exclusive for paid users which I think is the best since it would definitely get our money’s worth and to separate us from people who were not willing to pay for the app. But I don’t have the crown yet but have the receipt as well to prove that I bought Tap Tap Revenge 3 (TTR3). Also, I waited for TTR3 to change their Guitar purchasing method back but wasn’t able to wait much longer so I bought it. Now I have 900,000+ coins. Maybe now I could spend them to the other Pistons of Power that I want. Good job Tapulous for the first month of the year, which happens to be where my birthday lands on the 22nd. Kudos! Thank you guys!

I thought I didn’t have one either, until I did a little searching under my avatar editor page. You have to view the “Hair Accessories” section if you don’t see it… it should come up.

For all the people asking about the crown… go into the news feed. There is message in there that will say you are a premium user, and clicking on it will lead you to your avatar page. The crown is right there.
And now some suggestions: please make it so you can either turn off themes or download themeless tracks. So we don’t have to jailbreak to remove the themes
please. I know lots of people will agree with this. Also, try to organize the avatar item sections a little better. That’s all I have to say.
And grats for the release of RR in 1 week can’t wait!

I bought this game when it came out… I paid the 99 cents but since then o had to reinstall and I lost my favorite song to play it was medicate by AFI. I had it for a Long Time now it’s not available I’ve even looked for it in the tap tap store please help.

Ok…I spent the money so I could play the premium songs in the premium rooms (ie FOB, Blink, SP, No Doubt). The only room I can get into is No Doubt. All of the other rooms have the lock on them & it says I have to purchase the live mode. What the heck? I used to be able to play in those rooms before you guys made it free. What’s up with that? I “paid” for the app, “paid” for the music & yet I can’t play in the premium rooms.
Also, why are my high scores not recorded? When you hit the tab (don’t remember exactly what it’s called), then you hit the tab for high scores, then shakes on or off (mine are in shakes off), then you select a level, then find your song. Mine are not there. Very few of them are. What’s up with this too? I work hard at playing TTR3 and no acknowledgement??? That just ain’t right.

I haven’t received a message on my feed about the crown.

I also have problems with getting credits I installed 6 apps worth 17 credits each and 1 worth 18 and they won’t give me credits. It’s been 2 weeks for the 17 credit ones and a day for the 18.

Question: What if we purchased TTR3 for $.99 but then reinstalled the app because it was lagging or for other reasons, but when we reinstalled the app, it was now for free? Does that degrade our status from being a premium user to a non-premium one? Would we still get our crown? And for the guitars as well? Thank you!!

I had roughly 400,000 coins but when I saw that the guitar had then changed to $4.99 I spent heaps of my coins on pimping out my avatar with free stuff.
Is there anyway that you can make the guitar permanently 400k for those premium users? I’ve spent $23 dollars on this game, I’d love to get something without purchasing that others don’t have that option

Wow….!! Tapulous was nice enough to give us 15000 coins, no adds, a crown, the guitar for 400K, and a big thankyou and some of you people are STILL complaining! >:( give them a break, geeeeesh! they didn’t have to do that, they could of just gave us a thankyou and called it a night, but they didn’t and some u are complaining! I mean it’s not like you paid a dollar for a crappy game! Quit being greedy:(

Ok I restored all of my premium songs (ya know those 6-pk songs) and still cannot get into the premium rooms except for No Doubt. I used to be able to get into them before you guys made this game free. What’s up with that? Can someone please answer my questions? Also I want to know why my name does not come up under the high scores when u click on the charts tab? Huh? Can you guys answer that one too?
Also for those of us who had purchased the 2-6 bundle packs, why can’t we get credit for those bundle packs seeing that some of us did pay for them as well as paid for our game? Betcha none of these questions will get answered. I’m getting ftustrated.

They shouldn’t be paid in the first place since it it just an avitar item. Then again, WoW sells items like that. Still, $4.99 for each item in an iPhone game is a little steep. I mean I could get 2 of the premium TTR games and come out having way more than 2 avitar items that do nothing.

Thanks so much for the crown it’s awesome! But it just appeared, with no news feed mention. Will it work the same way with the guitar? Tap tap and Ed you’re awesome! i love the game, and i hope you ignore the people hating on you, you’re doing an awesome job. i don’t buy the avatar items that cost money (little bit of a waste) but i buy many track packs and LOVE the credit system!
