Haiti Earthquake Relief: Purchase Special Avatar Items To Help by Maria

Along with the rest of the world, we at Tapulous are watching the tragic after-effects of the devastating earthquake in Haiti and we want to do our part to help.
We’ve placed 3 special avatar Items in the store, with 100% of the proceeds from their sale going to Oxfam America relief efforts. For every dollar raised through the sales up to $10,000, Tapulous will match the funds. These special items are available at different price levels (99c for an Oxfam badge, $4.99 for a background, $9.99 for a shirt), because anything you can afford to give will go a long way toward helping the Haitian people, who are in desperate need of assistance.

NEWS : RIDDIM RIBBON..
Riddim ribbon is apparently “almost finished”, and tapulous are almost ready to submit the application to the app store for approval.
tapulous needs several weeks since the start of January 2010,
to finish with the preparations of this application.
the application should be on the app store early February.

This is wonderful and I think it’s a great step for u guys at tapulous to show maturity in the app store. Not all iPhone developers can do this, I’m overall impressed

I love you Tapulous for so caring about humanity values. You guys are just awesome! But a shirt costs 9.99 and I instantly stop what I’m doing.
Never mind I will still donate my sum to my school community then.
Anyway this is a good idea.

I think Riddim Ribbon will be 4.99, it’s complicated app and 0.99 is too cheap for such delayed app.
It’s highly engineered and sure, I would buy it!

because we still have in-app purchases to get for tracks and ect.
ill buy it aswel.
hopefully theres no cheapskates who go ahead and put it on some site.. “& like make it cracked – riddim ribbon”.. <

Yea, i can’t w8 for Riddim Ribbon. Thx for the update.
I also had an idea of making an special Track-Pack for Haiti.
For example a 4 track pack with the most famous songs on TTR or so.
But i will buy some of these items for sure.

Dudes, you’re great.
I was in the Dominican Republic (same island, Hispaniola) 2 times and I know how the guys there live.
Haiti is one of the poorest states in our world and we just have to help them.

I am also curious about priceing plans on Riddim Ribbon. My guess is it will be free or 4.99 but just my guess. Looking forward to the next update!
Congrats on the campaign! Hati needs everyone’s help! I need to put more money on iTunes to do it though but it don’t matter for me because we donate to the red cross who is also donating towards relief in Hati. May God bless the people of Hati!

Well done!
It’s good to give. People should not have to worry about how much are being taken out of their pockets. It’s for a desperate cause. However, any amount is greatly appreciated and you should, if you haven’t already, feel a sense of value in giving, a value worth having.
