- Batch downloading will be back shortly. We just need to fix a bug for that.
- All you regular players that are already on TTR3 already have leveled up, downloaded a bunch of music etc so you will not be much affected by music unlocking
- TTR2 users: we are working on making sure you will uplevel correctly and music will be unlocked accordingly. We may have some hiccups implementing this. But we’re on the case!
- No third party ads for paid users!
- Don’t be silly: TTR3 free means millions of new users, and that’s great!

Hey Bart. I lost my free 2 track pack credit in TTR3, it changed it to 1 new credit so I am due 99 new credits to get a free track pack and I would like it back. Ed told me it never expired and now I really want to use it and am kinda upset! Please fix it for me and I’ll be eternally greatful! Also, Please, please, can you delete my messages? All of my PM’s in TTR3? That would be great as well but I can wait for that but I would really like my 2 track pack credit back. Thanks!

The new updates are pretty cool. I want the batch downloads back though…that was really useful. Also add more tracks to the game…not just indie and alternative but other genres as well. And take off the shakes…those ruin the game imo.
ANd ppl who paid like me should maybe get like free exclusive tracks that free users would have to pay for. Cause that sounds fare for me.

hey congrata on the going free bit but I’m a little mad about having to be gipped a dollar. I mean I’ve been a huge supporter of taptap 3 when it was 99 cents and just released on the app store. I bought it like the first day and I bougt a couple track packs and bundles. over time. I think it’s a little unfair for us who have been big supporters from the get go. I think we deserve a free track pack for being there from the start. I mean the dollar we used to purchase the game way back couldve been used on a 2 pack.

I am sorry for useing the blog as a help line but I don’t use GetSatisfaction that much. I tryed to get my free track pack and it wouldn’t download. It still doesn’t say that I puchased it and now it says I am minus 199 credits. If anyone can help me that would be great and again I am sorry for me being a bother I fell really bad about it.

That should get them to download. If it doesn’t my best suggestion would be to Restart and then if that doesn’t work go ahead and re-install TTR. All your high scores will remain no worries

@ Will: I don’t see the issue. When you own a company and can afford to pay for it yourself out of pocket go ahead, but most companies in the world can’t. That is why others support them. We supported them until they could afford to make it go free. Yeah, some people got unlucky, but just last week I bought something online and the next day it was cut about 25%… That’s life…
Will, if you are planning to get RR, or own any other free TTR game, then it had to of came from a staff team that needs to get paid.
Also, it really is only .99¢ I could honestly go outside and find that on my street. The game is worth more than that, personally I think it’s worth 5 bucks and would even pay that, so please don’t bad mouth Tapulous.

Something I’ve learned since starting to play TTR2/3 (in May ‘09, got TTR3 the day it came out, too), is that I, along with many other users here, have this “sense of entitlement” to not pay $1 for a game or shell out for track packs. Also, please note that anybody who did pay for the game earlier will have fewer ads to deal with in return.
It’s like we are all expecting TTR3 to be exactly as free and de-bugged as TTR2 within a month of its launch. Not only is instant debugging impossible (you’d have to wait for a few MORE months of beta-testing to get a bug-free version of TTR3), but Tapulous also has gotta make a profit somehow. They do have employees to pay (in amounts proportional to Bay Area living costs, too!), and need some extra change in the bank for any future expansion/hiring/etc. A company has to be sustainably profitable in order to survive. If Tapulous goes down, TTR goes down with it. ( = BAD)
Before anybody asks, no, I’m not a Tapulous employee. I live 1500 miles away from their Shop/HQ and simply have a very unhealthy obsession with tapping to music, even if it does cost $1.

I can’t believe how many people are getting annoyed at Tapulous because they had to pay $1. ONE DOLLAR.

I had the problem Billyman was talking about – couldn’t get online to save my life. Ed reset my busted score, but I never got to see it, and I reinstalled to see if this was my problem and NOW no one has online play and the BATCH DOWNLOADS are gone and I have NO MUSIC!
It’s no one’s fault, but I’m sad sad sad.

I do think that paid users should receive NO advertisement – at all. I think that it is wrong for it to be a paid app (for whoever paid for it at the time) with ads.

I have a problem with ttr3…. When I have my wifi on and I start to play ttr3, it asks for my email adress, profile pic and pass.. So I fill it in, then it says: “email confirmation sent” so I go onto my email and comfim it. Then it says (ony email now): “confirmation sent u can now play ttr3 on your iPod!” so I go on my iPod and try to play again with wifi on… Same thing happens, I have done this 3 times now. Any way to fix it? One more thing: it works when I turn wifi off. Thanks.

I think this is an awsome game but I would like to be able to buy songs with gift card money cause I’m in the country and that’s all I can get ( no credit card eithor). Who can I talk to about being a moderator? Do you need to be a certain level to see if you play lots because I’m level 29( nearly 30) and a ranking of 2319 at the moment. I’ve only been playing since Christmas but if I could pay I would definatly pay more than a dollar for a game like this.
