Have you ever searched “Tap Tap Revenge” on Twitter? A lot of people say they’re addicted. A ton of people say they play TTR “nonstop.” Well, the time has come to find out the truth, and have you people put your money where your mouth is. Or more accurately, put your fingers where your mouth is…where your mouths are…Whatever! It’s time to TAP YOUR FREAKIN’ BRAINS OUT, BECOME THE WORLD’S TOP TAPPER, AND WIN THE $1000 GRAND PRIZE!!
This tournament will take place on 10 separate days, with individual competitions each day :
* Sat Nov. 21
* Sun Nov. 22
* Sat Nov. 28
* Sun Nov. 29
* Sat Dec. 5
* Sun Dec. 6
* Sat Dec. 12
* Sun Dec. 13
* Sat Dec. 19
* Sun Dec. 20
To join the daily competition, launch Tap Tap Revenge 3, and go into The Ultimate Tapdown online contest rooms. At 12:01 a.m. Pacific Standard Time, the contest begins. At 11:59 p.m. PST, the contest ends. That’s right, this is a 24 HOUR TAP-A-THON! 100 players from each day will move on to the finals: The top 80 players with the most cumulative points, and 20 Chosen Ones. Keep a close eye on TapTapRevenge.com to see where you stand!
What’s a Chosen One? These will be 20 players that are selected by the Tapulous Board of Impulse. Some will be chosen randomly. Some will win through Twitter or Facebook posts. Some will make it through YouTube videos. Some will bring us coffee. The only way to know is to stay on your toes, and keep an eye on all things Tap Tap. We’ll let you know what you have to do. But that’s not all – get creative! Think of something awesome before we do, you’re IN.
Each contest day, we’ll randomly GIVE AWAY TONS OF PRIZES, including 100 premium track packs, and 100,000 coin packs for Tap Tap Shopping Sprees!
After the 10 contest days, we’ll have 1000 finalists for December 26th’s ALL-STAR TAPDOWN. This will take place between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. PST. Finalists will be given 10 songs to prove their skills.
From that group, the cream of the Tap Tap crop, one champion will emerge. One person who can rightfully claim the crown, and be declared “KING OF ALL TAPPERS.” And to that victor will go the spoils:
THE $1000 GRAND PRIZE.
But the losers won’t be complete losers:
* 2nd place: iPod Touch
* 3rd place: iPod Nano
* Top 4th-10th: $25 iTunes card
And all 1000 who make it to the finals will win a track-pack prize and a cool wrestling-style belt avatar item, just for showing up.
But what about those of you who don’t make it to the finals? Do we want you to just sit around on December 26th and twiddle your thumbs? The answer is NO! We’ll also be running the TAP TAP CARNIVAL!
We’ll be all over TapTapRevenge.com, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube, giving out loads of prizes and having all kinds of contests, including (but not limited to):
* Avatar contests – most stylish, goofiest, most blinged out, and more
* YouTube contests – we’ll be asking for your most original, funniest videos
* Twitter contest- how fast can you tweet us back?
* Facebook contests, best feature request, battles, and tons more crazy stuff!

Well… I think the 1st Contest Day is over now… In Germany its now 11pm so i go to bed now.
i met à Lot of nice musicfreaks during playing the Contest. although i wasnt sooo good i made the 1st Place à few Times

To Matthew Cabrera: no some people are not cheating. i understand how you feel. we usually have about 15 people in our room get a full combo. so how does this affect the scores? if you played the tutorial it gives a small mention that if you hit the note perfectly you get more points then it being a little bit off. this can be shown by the green ring that surrounds the tap zone after you hit a note.
