The Points BLOW OUT Weekend by Ed

The very near future is going to be HUGE! MASSIVE! AND GINOURMOUS! That means that you need to spend some quality time this weekend with TTR2. Take it to the beach, or take it to lunch, and explain to it that you’re going to start spending time with someone else. But before you break it off, make sure you get as many points out of TTR2 as possible.
GET THOSE POINTS THIS WEEKEND! Points are very important to your future in TTR3, so we’re doing a POINTS BLOW-OUT from now until Sunday at midnight (Pacific Time). Every score you submit on any song gets you 1000 bonus points. But wait… we’re not making it that easy. On each run, you must score at least 100,000 points and get above a 50 streak.
So get to it! You’ve got t-minus 35 hours of craziness left.

Sounds cool, but I still want points for online play. As far As I can tell they’re only for submitting regular scores, but I want them for online play, battles, etc. For that matter, a way to submit a high score from one of those to the regular high scores would be nice.

Just a tip, if you just want the 1000 points, you don’t have to do the entire song. And all you have to do is just het a streak of 50(it’s okay if you miss, just get above 50 streak) and get above 100,000 points and then you can just quit the song. That is what I do

Yes! In app purchaces are only available in OS 3.0 or higher. It’s ok because they lowered the price when OS 3.1.1 came out to $5.00! The update will take a while so make sure you have a c

Here’s the low down: 1, I’m not being un-optimistic just practical! 2, they probably did it in hopes that it’s released Tuesday at midnight! I thought that was a pretty cool idea! I hate the fact that it was only for the weekend and that’s gone now. I mean I just heard about this a few hours ago, almost got to level 50 by midnight PST, 5 levels short of that.
If these points are so important for TTR3 then why wouldn’t they make the “Points Blowout” period longer? Let’s say a week? Would have been better for more TTR fans to hit the level 100 goal.
Oh well TTR3 will be awesome reguardless of points, then I will part with my TTR2 App!

I don’t know about you, but I’ve given Tapulous a total of $15 (TTC, TTNIN, and TTGaga), and gotten something like 300 songs in 5 games, that’s one hellofa deal.

@M St — So why are you getting all pissed off? It seems like Tapulous wants to release it… so if it was already approved, I’ll bet it would be out. IF it’s not approved, they don’t have a choice over the matter.
It’s not really apple’s fault either, they HAVE to review all the apps. It’s part of the whole deal we all agreed to when we bought iPods and started downloading apps. If we don’t want an approval process, and we’d prefer to use crappy apps that aren’t reviewed by anyone, go to jailbreak land and use those. Or go get a g-phone…
On the other hand, if you want consistent quality – go grab a pitcher of beer with me and we’ll drink until it comes out. It’ll probably be in the next couple days anyway.

Its true everyone kinda assumed that ttr3 was gonna come out. But I kinda learned not to get my hopes up after last time.. I powered lvled on Sunday 7pm to 1am- from lvl 18- 60. I just played eenie meanie and stopped as soon as I went over 100k.

The app store won’t be updated so early in California now anyway. Think it is 4.35am there. I would wait at least 8-9 hours from now and we can see for sure if it is coming today or tomorrow…..

He is the guy who did the interview…

Are you new? You must be. Bart Decrem is the CEO of Tapulous and with out his knowledge of computing there would be no Tap Tap Revenge! (there’d only be Tap Tap Revolution by Nate True!) You can see all of the Tapulous employies by going to” about” at the top of the site links and after getting there click on Staff! Hope this helps!
