I had problems with purchasing too. Go back to the song, and repurchase (it won’t charge two times, it will let you redownload for free if the purchase has already gone through). Wait until the loading bar goes away, and there should be a link to download your purchased tracked. Hope that works!

Tyler — the free tracks are all available in the store. You can find them when viewing by artist or difficulty. Instead of saying “Tap here to purchase” like premium content, it will say “This track is available for free”
If you delete any of your purchased content, you can just go into the store and buy it again — once you’ve bought it, you own it, and you can download it as many times as you want.

I’ve bought DLC twice and it won’t show up. There’s no way to find free music without clicking every link.

I figured it out . The points blowout was for the items we could use for our avatar. Yes you can now buy items for your avatar and the points you score on the game become coins in ttr3 thus making it able for you to buy items for your avatar

Another vote for a Download All Free Tracks button.
I only check for new tracks every few weeks, and it’s a relatively time consuming process, I can imagine it being even worse now with having to pick just the free tracks. A single button would make life so much easier and let me get on with playing!

I have a big problem with TTR3.
I recently got an achievement that won me 10,000 coins and I’ve leveled up several times, and even gotten more achievements than that. But somehow my coin amount keeps going down even when I’m not buying stuff for my avatar, and then I go to my purchased avatar items and see like 20 things that I didn’t buy but I somehow own. I have a feeling that TTR3 is buying avatar items for me that I don’t want (such as scarves, earrings, and female apparel even though I’m a boy). It’s very frustrating and I hope they patch this problem soon because I am out of coins to buy things I want almost every time I go to the avatar store.

Game is good, but we could use more “Known Artists” songs that are free. I only have a dollar until like next week and I spent that on the game, now I can only play like 3 good songs. Was expecting something like thanks for buying heres a token for a free song of your choice or something along the lines of that. Hope there are more “known” free songs coming.

Hm, it seems pretty good.
But, it’s a pain isolating free songs by difficulty.
And songs like fight for you I now have to pay for, this is slightly disappointing.
if i want every song..i’m gonna have to shell out like $50.
i cant download any songs i KNOW for free.
when you view songs by mode you then have to click on each one to see if it’s free…this is bad since my router has decided to go bad recently and my internet is horrendously slow.

you now i bought this app thinking that well they need to take money from somewhere but when i saw all these paid packs i was like, is this the company that i thought was never gonna try to make me pay for a game, is this the company of my first ever played app, is this the company that made have the best moments with its beautiful design, tracks and themes, is it? the only answer i could think of is that this is not Tapulous, this is some weird company that the only thing that thinks of is money. Hey everyone. I have a few questions about TTR3. When you buy premium content it just charges your iTunes right? And, can you transfer that bought content to another iPhone/iPod?? I like the new version of tap tap revenge, but there are some things about the second one i liked better. I miss being able to have a picture instead of an avatar. There should be an option to do either. And also can songs from tap tap 2 be downloaded into tap tap 3? beczuse there were a ton of songs i liked but dont have anymore. Also for some reason my old online account got deleated when I closed ttr3 and i’m not sure why.

Gee some people come up with some whining crap.
First of all its 99 cents, stop whining, its 99 cents.
Second of all to those whining about how you have to pay for other song packs – Do you really think record companies of these BIG name artists are gonna give songs away for free? The money for these songs isn’t for Tapulous, the majority would go direct to the record companies. Plus you’re still getting WEEKLY free songs, the first song being from Fall Out Boy so obviously they’re still releasing some free awesome songs.
On top of that, Tapulous make some real top notch stuff, if you’re too cheap to pay for a 99 cent app you have major issues.
Good work Tapulous, I’ll be downloading TTR3 later and I can’t wait!

I agree with you, ttr3love. The same people who whine about it costing $1 and DLC are just like the App Pirates [Website censored]. They just want everything to be handed to them free as if they deserve it. These great developers at Tapulous work very hard to bring you these Tap Tap games. For all of you guys that are complaining about the price – to be able to sell things in an app (i.e. songs on TTR3), the app has to be bought – it can’t be free. How many free apps do you know that if in-game purchases? That’s right, none. Also, its the first day of TTR3 in the app store, I’m sure Tapulous will take into account common complaints (from the 2 million users) and fix them in due time. Keep it up, its fantastic so far in its stage in app life.

just stop whining about songs that aren’t free like in TTR2 … play them in TTR2 or pay the fair price to play them in TTR3. after all, tapulous should be rewarded big time for all the fun we have with their apps. when you play singstar or some other stuff on PS3 or something – what does it cost? how many songs? TTR3 is a gift compared to that!

I think the point is being lost on some people. I, for one, am not complaining. I am asking questions about missing functionality. There seems to be no way to import songs from Tap Tap Dance and other paid “song packs”, like there still is on TTR2. It’s like Tapulous just axed that functionality without a word. And, unlike the switch from TTR1 to TTR2, songs that we already use and like are no longer available (Crystal Method, Prodigy, Flyleaf, and lots of indie artists), which means that we have to keep TTR2 and TTR3, or lose those songs. This is just unfortunate, and I don’t know why key functionality would be dropped. And what about Facebook Connect? Is that just missing as well?

OK 1 dolar por the app is good price but… HEY!!! ALL THE OLD SONGS AREN´T FREE!!! oky maibe the baddest groups but the all american rejects, fall out boy, dj tiesto, blink… good artist, bad prices. I will continue playing TTR2.

I’m on the edge. On one hand, the game’s graphics, overall, are amazing . There’s a bit of lag, but nothing devastating. On the other hand, most of the songs I loved in TTR2 are paid, if not unavailabe. Will we be able to import these songs, or is there a feature planned to download from old games?

I always felt like there was something missing in Tap Tap Revenge 2 despite the new themes and that it was fun to play online. I think TT3 has really delivered. Avatar’s, battle modes online, in game chat, and FINALLY In Game Downloads.
I don’t care if some people are against paying money for music. Because there is a small fee they added so much more content and they can get much more artist. I am so happy that Sum 41 and Angels & Airwaves are in this game and with their own theme. Thank you Tapulous. I don’t have any doubts anymore and I can get rid of Tap Star and Beatrider

If you have jailbreak your iphone, put there musics from TTR2 to TTR3 by using the SSH it work but no leaderboard,xp and coins…

These developers and musicians have to be paid too, you know. If it weren’t for DLC, we probably wouldn’t even get great music. Lay off the candy bars and save up for an iTunes gift card or you can go back to TTR2. I can’t believe how many people are complaining over a $1 application with 100 songs and 50¢ a song DLC. Rockband is $50 for roughly 60 songs and $2 PER SONG!

in my opinion, the theme is ok, but i liked the theme that was in TTR 2.0. also, the theme makes the notes come down way too fast, and that’s making me miss a lot more notes than i actually do. and the 16x functionality is ok, but it’s kinda hard to activate 16x in the middle of holds, or in the middle of some really hard extreme song. i hope tapulous is going to make the theme a bit better, and the tap detection better. i would also like the return of the color-coded accuracy, rather than have the accuracy bar at the top, where it’s a lot harder to reference to in the middle of a song. everything else is much better.
the online play servers with a lot more rooms, but why do we need to level up in order to play on extreme servers? what happened to our old online points? and what do we do with the levels and points we received from the points blowout? those are some questions that i would like answered.
but the gameplay is still the old classic greatness, and some old features were enhanced, so i’m gonna say that this game was worth the buck.

the avatars are so lame and unecessary, I haven’t been able to download one track without failure or a corrupted file, and where is Johnny Cash? Ring Of Fire is why I got this, where is it? And why can’t I find ABC or Lark On My Go Kart in 2.6 anymore? I purchased a two track pack, Marilyn Manson, and it’s nowhere to be found and says I have no purchased tracks. Is it impossible to have a search function?

well i just successfully downloaded Zion I’s “My Life,” experienced the tiniest bit of lag but the screen sure looks pretty. Sorry about the harshness of my last comment, I was fiending. I still am, to get Lark for free from 2.6 hopefully, and Ring Of Fire, I will also try to buy the track pack again and just hope I can’t get charged twice. This game is a lot of fun, it just seems like it wouldn’t have hurt to make it more streamlined, but I’m sure the kinks will be ironed out soon, thanks tapulous crew for all the hard work.

So…. how “live” is the live update page? and how exactly are the achievements made available?
I’m level 10 and despite that fact, I can’t see the “Streaker III” achievement in my awards list (wether completed or not). That said, I just completed “Mr. Brightside” on Extreme (while online) and have gotten a 556 note streak. I do have a image and have sent a challenge to a friend and the battle section if I need to prove this.

You only get charged once. Check your wi-fi connection and turn blutoth off. Also if you device hasn’t been turned off punt synced in a long time it might need to be turned off and then on again and that may do the trick! It takes a little longer on payed tracks but it does work for me!

I am really happy that Tap Tap Revenge 3 has been released. Ive been playing it non-stop. The new songs that Tapulous had put in make Tap Tap even better! I’ve used more than 10 dollars already.
Great job tapulous!
But there is a glitch, or something on my TTR3. It seems that i have gotten an achievement that has given me about 2000+ coins. But for some reason, my game is somehow ‘automatically’ buying women’s apparel, when my avatar is a guy!
Its depleting the coins I’m saving up for the new cool avatar stuff that I want to get. Someone help me please!
Other than that, Tap Tap 3 Is the best app ever! Keep up teh good work Tapulous, and get us even more better tracks . I’ll buy them all!

Probably because ttr3 has the ability to buy and download songs from those apps. Premium apps are now out of style becaues they can put full sized premium apps for sale in ttr3! That’s what makes me so mad about other people getting mad, it’s so if you want to buy something you can. I bought my iTunes gift card 2 months ago just so I’d have some money when ttr3 came out!

Yes, but they are still promoting those Tap Tap games within TTR3, but they removed the ability to import. It’s just unfortunate to lose great features that people have come to enjoy. And as far as TTR2 songs that are no longer available… I’d be down to purchase them, but they are gone altogether (Flyleaf, Prodigy, etc.). I was hoping to be a lot more excited about TTR3, but it’s like 100 songs nobody’s heard of, nickel-and-dime on everything else, coupled with a lack of Facebook integration in favor of a really cheesy avatar system. Perhaps it will get better as time goes on.

Have you guys at Tapulous been fiddling around with the store? I liked the initial “Download all free tracks” but that’s been replaced by “Download all x free tracks” where x=difficulty.
Confusion aside, excellent release guys and you hit the price point perfectly, 59p with all those free tracks, regardless of whether there were more or less songs in TTR2 (by the way, please bring back Death Cab for Cutie and Hadouken! :p)
Finally, crazy idea here: why not be more strict with the coins (or make them worth less) and allow them to be used against purchases of song packs?

I have the same thing happening to me like Ichigokurosaki74. I have a male character but at some point yesterday, a few things appeared on my avatar page that shouldn’t really be there or that I didn’t buy at least (womens underwear, wings)…
Apart from that, in extreme mode there are a few songs that lag the last few seconds, always at the same place. I noticed it on Smoky Land and Sugar We’re Going Down.

If you read the blog post it says they will have new free and payed music every week! Give them sometime, to me this is a typical launch batch of songs and believe me it will improve! This is Tapulous we’re talking about! As for import from ttr2, as I said before it must be because of licensing and if people went importing songs from ttr2 into ttr3 than alot of payed tracks in ttr3 would be obsolete! An example is that I still have all the Jet songs in ttr2 and I have Sweet Thing, but in ttr3 they are payed so if they let me import them than everyone loses in the end. I lose because I don’t get hot, popular music anymore. Tapulous loses because they would have to pay royalties to the record companys and where are they gonna get the money unless we buy songs? And the artists/record companys lose because they get less cash flow than they would if the songs were payed. In the end all parties win if we stop complaining and buy the song!

People should know better than to complain. It could be worse, they could have removed Tap Tap Revenge, and TTR2 altogether once this came out. Having to pay for the songs in this app would be the least of your problems if that happened. I’m the kinda guy who doesn’t care about which song I tap to. Besides, music isn’t always Limewire, it’s money. So just don’t buy the songs if you don’t want to!

Lemon, you’ll find that the lowest possible price you can possibly charge in in-app purchases is 99c, so you’re actually getting a better deal. Tapulous is charging the minimum price possible and giving you two songs.

2 issues with this game:
* I have a 2nd gen iPhone and often during play, I get hesitations which causes me to miss taps, so the game seems to have become a bit to heavy. A restart of the iPhone seems to help. TTR2 did not have this problem
* I can’t import old tracks, not even the ones I purchased. That is a disappointment.
Although the app now looks much more professional, it did change from a ‘enthousiastically developed’ game to a money machine. The whole app is now a big commercial to have you buy tracks. I understand it from a company’s point of view. It does become less sympathetic.

Another great game in ther series, and congratulations Tapulous for releasing another fantastic app! The online play and levelling up system, along with awards and avatars is amazing! However, I have noticed a couple of bugs that need fixing:
1) A lot of people claim that the app purchases women’s clothing for their male avatar by itself without them even doing anything (although this has not happened to me yet).
2) The award “Tap Tap – I” is earned by doing this: “Play Tap Tap Domination on Medium >98% accuracy” – I have completed this song before on TTR3 with 100% accuracy. I have also done it with 98% and 99% and still it will not let me have award. I played on 1P mode, with a wifi connection, but not playing online against others. Does this award require me to play this song with other online, or is it just a bug?
Apart from these concerns, an excellent app from Tapulous with hours of fun – I hope Tapulous release these minor bug fixes in the TTR3 update.

I’ve purchased Tap tap Revenge 3 and the tracks are downloading fine, but when i play online and enter a game, when i wait for it to begin its working fine and the tracks are downloading but when the game starts it says loading and then just goes back to the chat rooms. Can anybody help?

ok i hate to do this but im rather disappointed with this app.
the game plays beautifully the only issue is with the song choices… i know not one of these songs, and the ones i do know i have to pay for…..i really dont like paying $6 for a pack of songs just to play along to a familiar song…. cant at least the All That Remains track be on the free list.?

When i get an achievement or a new levesll, im not getting the right amount of coins, example i just got a new level (18 or 19). That was supposed to give me 9500 coins as specified on the congratulation screen but then the next screen was awarding me only ~3000!!!!!!
Anybody else with this problem and a solution for it??

Awesome game, Tapulous, but there’s a bug. Since I downloaded it when it came for free on Christmas, but I’ve redownloaded this app many times and created about 10 profiles and none worked. You see, I got to level 8, then it resets and goes to either level 1, level 5, or level 6. Even after redownloading and making new online profiles (and deleting the old ones) this game still rewinds my levels. Thanks a billion, Tapulous, if you can fix this bug. And is online play going to be up soon?

I got it while it was free of last week, for all I know it will stay free which is nice. I have to sadly admit it was not what I was hoping for, every last artist I actually like you have to buy the songs, there are a few that I guess are alright for free but it’s such a small selection. I like tap tap 3s new features but miss tap tap 2 for the wider selection of free songs for users whom don’t wish to pay, I’ll continue playing tap tap 3 though I doubt I’ll be buying any songs and I’ll be playing tap tap 2 to play the songs I was able to get which I liked.
P.S I’ve seen people attempting to start arguments on this little thing, people are stating their opinion their is no reason to argue with each other about how tap tap 3 is awesome or how it’s not, plus I am neutral about it so good luck arguing with me about it.

But today where I should have leveled up to 13 the game presented the congratulations message but saying I had reached level 2. Just wondering if there is any reason for this and if it can be fixed or will I just have to level up again manually? I really hope not

the game is okayy but i have no were neer 100 free tracks! or a new one each week. they are mostly old! its also getting kinda boaring doing the same songs

I used to have ttr2 and it was sooo good, and now I just got ttr3 and it won’t let me level up or get coins, I play and get the top score online, but when it finishes, the person below me I’d always classed as the winner, even if their scores Is miles off mine. and it just ignores me and I get points still like in ttr2 just nothing on this one, as if I’m not in the game! Help please? Unimpressed with this.

Great game! But could you add some Voltaire or system of a down. Because it irks me to see crap bands like owl city and vampire weekend on your playlist and not any of these bands that actually have some talent.
