Here in the shop we’re going crazy with excitement as we prepare to launch Tap Tap Revenge 3. In fact, we are so excited we decided to throw yet another HUGE CONTEST in honor of the release of Tap Tap Revenge 3! Here’s what you have to do:
- Create your own Tap Tap Revenge 3 Launch Party as a public event on Facebook (Set the date for Friday September 25th)
- Invite all your friends and encourage them to attend
- Email us the link to your event at submissions@tapulous.com. If you don’t do this you won’t be eligible to win!
- If you get over 90 confirmed guests, email us your mailing address and we will send you an exclusive Tap Tap Revenge 3 POSTER to hang at your launch party
- Throw your party! You can throw the rager of the year or just hang out, challenge each other in TTR3, and bask in the awesomeness that is Tap Tap Revenge. Be sure to take pictures!
If you believe the rumors, it looks like a new iPod Touch is coming out shortly. If your event is one of the two with the most confirmed attendees you win one of the new iPod Touches as soon as they hit the stores! We are also giving away $20 iTunes gift cards to the 20 runners-up with the next highest number of confirmed guests.

I don’t understand why either! They probably can’t give a day because of apple’s approval wait(usually 1-3weeks) but should give us an estimate. Most developers give fans a date when they sent it to apple for approval,(example- ngmoco, Cyan Worlds, Gameloft, and OOOGameprom) but not tapulous! I’m still very pleased with Tapulous and their games just not thrilled with susspence…….

Hahaha way to go all out tapulous. So what you’re saying is if I get 200 people to come to a party about an iPod app, I get a poster? UPDATE: We decreased the number of confirmed guests you need from 200 down to 90 because 90 is 3 x 3 (x10), and you all know how much we love the #3 around here.

It is 12.17am in Australia on Saturday, September 26th. It is 7.17am in California on Friday, September 25th. One of the employees working at Tapulous earlier said that it would be released September 25th, PDT. It looks like we may as well not bother, wait till October at this rate, not kidding. It’s probably coming…Apple had almost a month to approve this games and if it doesn’t, they fail, not Tapulous. They chose today and submitted the app quite a while ago to ensure it would make it on time. Still, I’m disappointed as parties are starting and in my case, ended still without ttr3 available on the App Store. Would have been nice to know more about the game

Okay, so 100% of the time Tapulous has been inaccurate with release dates. So when they tweeted that it would be available in the next week or 2, it may mean another month. I heard ttr3 might be out Wednesday..but rumors are half the time wrong. So don’t get your hopes up on Wednesday or else it’s gonna be another shitty, pissy,grumpy,miserable sept 25 again. But keep your eyes peeled on wednesday incase. But other wise don’t take my word on it. I’m just spreading any updated news whenever I hear it.

But because its like derived from the most popular apps ever I would wait till end of October.

Well I want ttr3 now!
New year resoulution for tapulous.
1. Don’t submit apps to apple on the day you plan on having it in the store!
2. Inform your fans on what’s happening (delays, problems, etc. Don’t leave us hanging!! Put any news on the game itself! It common sense! People will open ttr2 app to see any late news on ttr3. Not everyone uses Twitter. Where do you think everyone is gonna check first for big news? Twitter or the app itself?
3. Fix twinkle PLEASE!
They’re planning to charge a buck… I think it should be free for a day cuz of the huge ass delay! But yet I’ll still pay for the dam app anyways.

I agree DragonRocker. They said they submitted it weeks ago, then why hasn’t it been added to the app store? I think it was just submitted on the ’supposed’ release date. It has now been a week since that date and what? No TTR3!

We don’t know if anyone noticed, but Tap Tap Revenge 3 didn’t come out last Friday. No, for real, it didn’t.
Of course, we’re kidding. We know you noticed. We saw your tweets, read your posts, got your emails, and we apologize. We understand that you were expecting it, and that for many of you addicts, your very sanity depended on it. It was hard to not have it for you. But here’s the deal:
For us at Tapulous, Tap Tap Revenge is a marathon, not a sprint. There are a lot of new features going into TTR3, and we weren’t going to submit it to Apple until they were all ready. We didn’t want to rush a release just to make a date, and then have to put out updates and fixes right after. I mean, finishing those social features takes time, as well as getting together all that crazy new music from those HUGE musical acts.
So, in the immortal words of Mr. Axl Rose, have “just a little patience.” We promise the wait will be worth it. Thanks to all of you for continuing to tap with us. You rock!
