The Iration Contest! by Ed

What does the sky look like where you are? Rain? Snow? Do you even look up from the Tap Tap Revenge screen long enough to notice? What we want you to do is plug into IRATION and their song “Falling,” turn it up loud, and pretend you’re poolside in July. Now sit back, relax, and get ready for some competition.
The Grand Prize for the Iration Contest includes an autographed IRATION poster, and they make good posters, a signed copy of the EP “Sample This,” and an Iration T-Shirt. Five runner ups will win a signed copy of the EP “Sample This.”
Your goal in this contest to submit a score as close as you can to the target: 260,000 points. Winners will be drawn from the 100 closest players to 260,000 points, including ties. For example, if 120 players tie at 260,000 points, we will draw from all 120 players.
The contest runs from Friday, April 3rd at 12pm (noon), Pacific Daylight Time through Sunday, April 5th at 11:59pm, Pacific Daylight Time. You must play through the entire song while online, then submit your score to the global leaderboard to enter the contest. Good luck!!

Off-topic:
Was there some change to the online scoring procedure?
Previously exiting a game means no rank change, but I lagged out of a game and when I booted up again, I found my online score dropped over 50 points

Yes. They changed it so that no matter how you quit during a song (willingly quitting, crashes, etc.), your score stays the same when you left as it would if the song had finished. So if someone leaves during the middle of the song because their not in first, whatever score they had when they exited counts toward how well they did compared to other peoples scores.
Unfortunately, if it crashes or is laggy this same rule applies. That’d why they suggest leaving the app after a couple songs to avoid this problem…
