This is by far the best game. It is updated with a new song weekly and has regular performance fixes. By far the best game, by far the best company for iPhone games

Congrats to Tapulous.
Though I still have a request. It seems unlikely that Tapulous is at all interesting into getting some metal onto Tap Tap at all. I do have some popular bands I would like to see on the game: Linkin Park, Fall Out Boy, and Paramore are additions I would like to see. I would really like to see Children of Bodom, Trivium, or Dream Theater but it seems like Tapulous’ employees have no interest in these (incredible) bands at all.

A Day to Remember would also be sick, in addition to those bands (^)

How bout Eminem, 50 Cent, Akon, Kanye West, and other rappers? With all the requests for songs/artists, Tapulous would be putting out a song or two everyday. Yes I understand we would all like to have our favorites incorporated into this awesome game, but you need to remember that there are just 8 tapulous employees and it takes a pretty good amount of time to get the notes for songs right. Also they have licensing issues they run into. And then they at putting these songs out for free. Would you like to work overtime and not get paid extra?
Anyways again congrats on the accomplishment Tapulous.

RukiaTH – The music preferences of Tapulous employees spans such a huge plane of styles and genres, you couldn’t even begin to comprehend. The assumption that we all only listen to music that is actually in the game is outrageous!
Plus – I’m actually positive that some of us were more metal by the time we were 13 than you will ever be. Don’t make me start digging up pictures now….
But really, we do our best to make every tap tap player happy. Patience, my friend.

A Dream Theater editon would awesome. I’d also like to see an edition featuring very abstract trance/industrial music, including Aphex Twin tracks among others, with tap tracks done so as to evoke the best of the Ghosts tap tracks in the NIN edition.

Sweet news! This only confirms the massive influence that the Tap Tap series has had in the mobile gaming world, and it’s surely a great incentive for our favorite crew to continue their awesome work
@ RukiaTH : Do you always have to be a tard in every post? If it were a question of desire or choice by the Tapulous guys, we’d have easily 1000+ songs by big-name artists. When you get a clue about dealing with record labels, come back here and try to complain again.
Otherwise gtfo =)

@ DXChain:
Yes, I do have to be a “tard” in every post…nah, just kidding. Still, I’m surprised by the amount of music I don’t like in this game. I’m just kind of hoping that at some point of the music I actually enjoy, or could get into, would show up in Tap Tap.
I’m fully aware that it’s a matter of whether or not the band and/or record label wants their music to be used in a game like this. I’m pretty surprised that a lot of the bands I’ve requested haven’t shown up in here but have in titles like Rock Band or Guitar Hero. Tapulous isn’t asking for master tracks like Harmonix or Activision are.
This is also why I’d be fine if Tapulous decided to start charging for song downloads. Record companies may be more willing to allow tracks to be used in Tap Tap if they were making more (I’m sure Tapulous already pays some form of royalties) money off of it.

I play TTR every day! I would also love to see some System of a Down songs put into the game.

Wow, 9 million Tap Tap downloads and being the #1 installed app is truly great. This really deserves a celebration party – I guess you had one already.
I had heard (good things) about Tap Tap Revenge even before I purchased my iPhone, and it was one of the first apps I installed (I was surprised when I saw it was free). I’ve never regretted installing it – even though it sometimes drives me crazy when I break the “perfect streak” due to a “mistap”
.
I wish even more success for the Tapulous team, who have brought an incredible game to the iTunes Store. Keep it up!
P.S. I’ve always wanted to write something as part of the community of this great game, so this is also a “Hello, I’m new here” post. You can see me in the highscores of some Easy and Medium games which is probably not even worth writing about compared to the great players here!
P.P.S. I’m not a fan of N.I.N. or Coldplay, but I agree about Dream Theater. Anyway, I know you can’t make everyone happy, so I’m quite content ATM.
