@maxime: we’re on the case! A couple of things to try though: (1) restart your device; (2) turn off Push and WIFI. The game SCREAMS on 2nd Gen iPod touch is what we’re seeing. Also keep in mind that Jailbroken devices have more performance issues.
@Blake: it’s in the upper right corner of the blog, under Stay Updated.
@andr3w: our license for a few of the song in the original Tap Tap Revenge has expired, and Hot N Cold is one of those. This is one of the reasons why Tap Tap Revenge 2 is a new app: you can always continue to enjoy those songs in the original game. Don’t worry too much though: we already offer more than 150 free new songs, and in the coming weeks have some awesome new tracks lined up.

I’m having the same problem as a few others, it keeps crashing. I have the game on my iPod and iPhone and my brother has it on his iPod and we have re-started our iPhone and iPod and it still crashes.
I also have a problem that when I play a song and never miss any notes or shakes, it gives me less than 100%. I just played a song, never missed anything and I got 91%. I have this problem on TTD & Xmas with Weezer.
Should update to fix these problems. Apart from these problems it’s Amazing!

@Anthony: I beleive you can direcly add friends through the twinkle app. Not sure I’ve been wanting to try it. My Tapulous ID is the same name I have on here if anyone wants to try it.
On the Twinkle app theres a “friends” tab (Or a name like that, don’t have my ipod touch with me to check) and at the top theres a + sign which you can enter a name. The name you add does NOT make you friends with them on twitter but instead on tapulous.
(Sorry I am not good at explaining things lol)
Like I said I’d deffinilly wanna try it.

I really love TTR2; I’ve been playing it all day. It was funny this morning when I walked in to class, a lot of kids with iPod touches didn’t know about the second game, and everyone that knew about it was like “Dude download TTR2!!!”
Anyways, the graphics are great, and it’s exciting that I’m actually getting on the leader boards for once, and staying there for now, at least. The game does start to get laggy so I have to reset my iPod touch every once in a while, though.
I have one problem, too – I’ve never used the friends feature before in any of Tapulous’s apps, so maybe it’s just a friend issue, but in online mode, even if my friend (who I have apparently added, and he has added me) is sitting right next to me, we do not show up to each other under Friends (where it will show you how many friends you have online, you know, it might say Friends (0) or Friends (1), etc.).
Otherwise, I love all the new features, especially my favorite ones from TTD (multi-tap, hold, and I love how the album art, song length, and your best score all show up right in the list of songs).
Great job Tapulous, keep up the great work!

My wifi worked on ttr2 but now even though I have wifi and can go on safari

@Awaise, DUDE, Cliff owns Jason despite the fact that the latter isn’t bad, also, I’d like to say how disappointed I am in this game (except for the graphics which are awesome) mostly because of the fact that it doesn’t register a lot of taps, making me lose my revenge and making me wanna smash my iPod against the wall…please fix ths in an update and maybe consider making a mode with no held notes or double stops for us hardcore single finger players =P

I don’t think 100 people working 24/7 could get this game to run smoothly on a stock ipod or iphone without toning down the visual bling. Right now the best way to keep a streak is to not tap too accurately in visually congested parts.

iv’e only been playing recently on TTR but WOW I LOVE IT. can’t put it down. great tracks incl “your gonna go far kid” “hot & cold” & “never miss a beat” to name a few. I LOVE. it sooo much that in my short play time i’ve notched up top spot on the global leader board & got an email yesterday saying i am the winner in the Tap Tap Revenge Online contest! & apparently earned the title of “Infamous Tap Tap Legend” in the all new Tap Tap Revenge 2. cool!!!
i had paid £4.99 for tap tap dance & my advice is don’t waste your money, TTR is still the best & I really don’t like the new version TTR2. the in your face graphics are a bit much it’s buggy it frequently fails to load & frequently crashes. the new features are great though when you get it right.
That aside i have a major Complaint with Tapulous…why have you disabled the use of online play in the old TTR version which i love!!!!!. it’s driving me Tapping CRAZY without it. TAPULOUS whats the problem?? give it back. let the players choose which one we want to play.

Great App! i prefer it to TTR3! but i’m having problems playing held notes at the same time.. it won’t register them if i play them at the same time.. but if i play them a fraction apart.. it does.. but this is frustrating cause i lose my rhythm.. any help?
