It has been an exciting weekend around the Tapulous community and there are A LOT of winners to announce!  Lets recap: First, we handed out a free music album every 10 minutes as we marched toward our first million users.  Since that wasn’t enough, we continued the celebration with 1000 more free albums from lala.com. Then as thanks to our Tapulous promoters, we gave each of them a free album of their own! Thats a grand total of 1150 free mp3 albums! Check out the Winners Circle to find your name, then head over to Lala.com/ttr to claim your free music!

For the rest of the Tapulous community, we haven’t forgotten about you! We are still giving away 100 streaming web songs just for being a registered user. Due to the arcane copyright laws of the U.S. we are only able to extend this giveaway to members inside the United States. Better yet, Lala is giving away another 500 full MP3 albums to Tapulous users – so if you haven’t already done so, now’s a great time to download Tap Tap Revenge or Twinkle and set up your Tapulous acount.

Over the next day or so, we will contact all the winners of a free album to tell you how to claim your free music album on Lala. To claim your free songs, all you need to is register your Tapulous account, then head over to Lala.com/ttr.

An especially huge congratulations goes to the winners of our first ever Tappers Idol! With a quarter of a million votes in, you have selected the three best songs that will be introduced into Tap Tap Revenge!  We’re currently scrambling to get these fabulous tracks up and running inside the game.  Expect them first thing tomorrow!

Coming in at First Place, your NEW Tappers Idol is…. Lunar Fiction with She’s A Killer.

Lunar Fiction, an original dance rock band based out of Irvine, California, was formed in the spring of 2007. The band is heavily influenced by the more classic sounds of the 60’s and 70’s which they combine with the modern rock styles of today’s bands giving them their unique sound that has a little something for everyone.

In Second Place – Matecha with Tap It Up.

Matecha is the currently-solo music project of Andrew Matecha, a musician from Vancouver, Canada, who produces material of an electronic-industrial style.  The music of Matecha features rhythm-driven tunes with strong melody and very synth-heavy sounds.  Andrew has been writing, programming and recording songs digitally since 2001, after building a strong foundation of musical theory through half a decade of Royal Conservatory piano training.  Andrew is also a founder and member of the industrial band FMTA, also based out of Vancouver.

In Third Place – Q.N.D. with Supernova.

Q.N.D. is an all LIVE & Global Electronic duo based out of Seattle, WA. A collaboration between two local Producers/DJ’s designed to bring some new, fresh electronic dance music to a dance floor near you!  Check the Q.N.D. Music page for more info, music, events, updates, pics, videos, & more!
